Background: I was born in China, moved to Georgia when I was 5, and stayed there for my entire life. I am currently an undergraduate student at Harvard College as part of the Class of 2026. My concentration is in Human Developmental & Regenerative Biology, my secondary field is in Computer Science, and my language citation is in Spanish. I developed interest in cancer research because I took a course that introduced me to the various techniques to manipulate gene expression, which sparked my curiosity in its applications. I will begin to work as an undergraduate researcher in the Sethi lab in the fall of 2023. In the long term, I hope to pursue an MD/PhD and become a physician scientist.
Fun Facts and Interests: A fun fact about me is that I used to work as a waitress in a hibachi & sushi restaurant. My hobbies are binge watching Grey's Anatomy, trying out new food, and playing the violin. On campus, I enjoy organizing social events for PRIMUS, playing poker at Harvard Poker Club, and playing violin in the Harvard Baroque Orchestra. |
